The building was initially designed as an apartment block and later adapted ​during construction for office use. The main element altering the original ​facade is the assembly of perforated CORTEN panels, hung from the existing ​balconies, thus breaking the regularity of the appearance.

The contrast between the strength of the material and its lace-like perforation ​has a certain charm and brings several benefits: the shade created by ​partially blocking sunlight on the south facade, the light-shadow pattern ​created inside by the irregular perforations, and the remarkable effect ​produced by night lighting.
